About Us

Blancos London is an independent jewellery brand based in London, England set up by head jeweller Matt Blanco at just 20 years old. The mission, to create timeless jewellery inspired by the constantly changing jewellery and fashion scenes. The brand was born from a simple idea - to make well-crafted jewellery that people love wearing every day.

Matt's journey into the jewellery industry was far from the norm as he decided to teach himself the ins and outs of handcrafting jewellery. This was achieved solely from watching tutorials, trial and error and a lot of burnt fingers. Many years down the line Matt is an experienced silver and goldsmith, with an impressive portfolio that speaks for itself.

This hands on approach of learning shaped the way Blancos London works today, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, patience, and attention to detail. Every piece is designed and made with wearability in mind, balancing clean, timeless design with subtle modern influences. By using traditional techniques alongside modern tools, Blancos London creates jewellery that is made to last, not just follow trends.

Matt continues to be involved in every stage of the process, from the initial sketches to the final polish, ensuring each piece exceeds the standards he set when the brand first began. 

At its core, Blancos London is about honest craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and creating pieces that become part of your everyday life rather than something kept for special occasions only.

 

Handmade in London

All Blancos jewellery is designed and made in our London studio. From the first idea through to the finished piece, everything is done by hand by our jeweller. Each item is individually forged, shaped, polished, and finished using traditional techniques, which means no two pieces are ever exactly the same. 

Our collections range from clean, contemporary designs to classic pieces that never go out of style. Every piece is made with care and attention, for people who value quality, thoughtful design, and the story behind what they wear.

Before leaving the studio, every piece is carefully checked and then sent to the London Assay Office for hallmarking, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality before it reaches you.

 

 

Made to Order & Dispatch Times

Most of our jewellery is handmade to order. If an item isn’t available as finished stock, it is usually made within 5–10 working days, depending on how busy the studio is at the time.

Working this way allows us to focus on quality rather than mass production, and to give each piece the attention it deserves.

Sustainability

We try to work as responsibly as possible and are always mindful of our impact on the environment. Wherever we can, we use recycled precious metals, including gold and silver, sourced from trusted and reputable suppliers.

By making jewellery in small quantities and producing many pieces to order, we aim to reduce waste while continuing to create jewellery that’s made to last.
