Blancos London is an independent jewellery brand set up by head jeweller Matt Blanco at just 20 years old — built on a simple idea: to make well-crafted jewellery that people love wearing every day.
Our Story
A Self-Taught Craft
Matt's journey into jewellery was far from the norm. He taught himself the craft entirely from tutorials, trial and error, and more than a few burnt fingers. Years on, he's an experienced silver and goldsmith with a portfolio that speaks for itself.
That hands-on way of learning still shapes how Blancos London works today — a strong focus on craftsmanship, patience and attention to detail. Every piece is designed with wearability in mind, balancing clean, timeless design with subtle modern influences.
Matt remains involved in every stage of the process, from the first sketch to the final polish, ensuring each piece meets the standard he set when the brand began.

Every Piece, Made by Hand
All Blancos jewellery is designed and made in our London studio. From the first idea through to the finished piece, everything is done by hand by our jeweller — individually forged, shaped, polished and finished using traditional techniques, so no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
Before leaving the studio, every piece is carefully checked and sent to the London Assay Office for hallmarking, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality before it reaches you.
Made to Order
Most of our jewellery is handmade to order. If an item isn't available as finished stock, it's usually made within 5–10 working days depending on how busy the studio is. Working this way lets us focus on quality over mass production, and give each piece the attention it deserves.
Sustainability
We try to work as responsibly as possible and stay mindful of our impact on the environment, using recycled precious metals wherever we can, sourced from trusted, reputable suppliers. Making jewellery in small quantities and largely to order helps reduce waste while creating pieces that are made to last.
