Bespoke Jewellery, Made by Hand in London

Everything on the Blancos London website is handmade — but bespoke is where it gets really interesting.
A bespoke commission means a piece designed and made specifically for you, from the first conversation to the final polish. No compromises on design, no off-the-shelf decisions. Just something that didn't exist before you asked for it.
Enquiries are always welcome, and you don't need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. In fact, some of the most interesting pieces we've made started with nothing more than a vague idea and a willingness to explore it.

Bespoke means different things to different people. For some it's a completely original design — a ring, bangle, necklace or pendant built entirely from scratch around their own brief. For others it's a variation on something they've already seen here: a different gemstone, a different metal, a different weight or size. Both are equally valid, and both get the same care and attention.
If you have an heirloom piece, loose stones, or existing jewellery you'd like reworked or incorporated into something new, that's something we do regularly and enjoy doing well.
The Process
No two commissions follow exactly the same path, but most start with a conversation — by email, phone or in person. From there we'll work through the design together, discussing materials, stones, proportions and finish until the brief feels right. We'll be straightforward about timelines and costs from the outset, so there are no surprises along the way.
Some clients start with sketches and reference images. Others start with just a feeling they can't quite articulate. Both are a perfectly good place to start — guiding people through the process is part of what we do.

Precious Metals
We work with a range of recycled precious metals, each with its own character and finish. Sterling silver is our home ground — sleek, cool and versatile, and what the majority of our work is made from. But we also work in yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and platinum depending on the brief and the budget. All metals are available in various carats and finishes, and we'll help you find the right choice for the piece you have in mind.
Gemstones
A wide range of gemstones can be sourced for your commission — precious and semi-precious, in a variety of cuts, colours and sizes. Diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds sit alongside aquamarine, amethyst, tourmaline, topaz, garnet, peridot, morganite, citrine and spinel, among others. If you have a stone in mind that isn't on that list, ask anyway — we can usually source it.
We're happy to advise on durability, suitability and the meaning behind different stones if that's something that matters to you.
If something on this page has sparked an idea — however rough or half-formed — we'd genuinely love to hear from you. Get in touch and let's see where it goes.
